This Bill will remove the power to use Microsoft (c) PowerPoint in any public, commercial or business presentation. Henceforth, presenters will have to address their audiences clearly, face-to-face and using rational argument.

Why does this matter?

MS PowerPoint is the most pernicious innovation in the practice of management in the last 20 years. It is corrosive of logic, clarity, thought. Its use in presentations is bad enough. As a bucket for containing any manner of graphics, images videos and documents it is worse. Its use for textual material which would be far far better encapsulated in standard text or word processing programs is a crime. I needn't go on… None of the millions who hate PowerPoint and how it has destroyed rational discourse will fail to agree. Once this Bill is passed, audiences throughout the country will recover their fundamental liberty to listen to logical arguments presented with clarity and structure.
