A manifesto once issued and elected should become law.

Comment 10th July 2010

Prior to an election takeing place a party issues its manifesto it is on this that the electorate vote for them.It is reasonable to exspect that over a term of 5yrs years what is contained in the manifesto will be honoured. If it is argued that an opposition party once elected says that they did not know the true state of  things I would suggest that a manifesto should be more carefully  investgated before putting pen to paper. Voters for this present administation have been decieved A law should be made holding a party to their promises.

Why does this matter?

The people must know what they are voting for. They cannot exspect to tolerate a change of ideas and broken pledges within 9weeks of a government gaining office.
