Remove some of the unnecessary "gold plating" that was added by the last government in agreeing to this EU directive. Extending the qualification period to 9 or 12 months for equality would be far more sensible.
Why does this idea matter?
If the current directive is not modified it will make it harder for employers to remain competitive and and maintain a viable temporary workforce when business needs arise.
It will place a considerable administrative burden (unnecessary) on employers.
