Allow Domiciliary Care Agencies to work through GPs

Comment 19th July 2010

Cut out the need for council and primary care trust contract allocation of domicilary care services. Allow patients who visit their GPs to be refferred directly to domiciliary care services. This will cut out the need for primary care trusts and council red tape. It will allow GPs to assess the need for care services directly and improve the effieciency of domicialry care services and increase the contact hours between carers and patients.

Why does this matter?

This will allow GPs to assess the need for care in the home and improve the efficiecny of domiciliary care services and increase the contact hours between carers and patients.
