Restrictions on the use and sale of electronic cigarettes as "medical products" or other misleading categories to be lifted.
Why does this idea matter?
Electronic cigarettes are a safe way for smokers to continue to enjoy nicotine without the harmful side effects of smoking. Yet they are currently restricted, with further restrictions threatened, while cancer-causing traditional cigarettes continue to be sold over-the-counter nationwide. A lot of these restrictions come under the guise of classifying electronic cigarettes as "medical products" rather than simply as a safe form of recreation. This restriction not only means that more people are dying of cancer, but that the price of the few electronic cigarettes available remains higher than could be the case (but still cheaper than traditional cigarettes) because the majors are unwilling to invest in a sector that could be banned, thus removing competition and mass production.
Allow electronic cigarettes and save lives.
