Ban expiry dates on qualifications

Comment 11th August 2010

Many of these have to be renewed on regular bases. This should be considered a tax on skills.

The cost of a renewal does vary but over a hundred pounds is not unusual and has to be paid for every employee annually. This is asking a lot after the original course originally cost at least as much.

If people must attend a short vocational course before gaining employment can they at least make it last.

Why does this matter?

Knowledge should not be given a sellby date.
