Ban on Animal Experiments

To ban animal experimentation involving hurt or cruelty.

It is time for the UK to be the first state since 1945 to prevent this form of cruelty and to institute a new era in human-animal relations in the contemporary world.

Why does this idea matter?

So far, only one state has had the courage to ban cruelty to animals and birds caused by or during animal experimentation. The first law passed by the National Socialist government in Germany in 1933 was the prohibition of vivisection. Some people may recall a brilliant cartoon, showing a range of animals all giving the Hitler or National Socialist salute, with a caption underneath reading "Even the animals vote for the Fuhrer!".
