changing of sentencing when someone killed on roads

Comment 6th July 2010

When someone has been killed on the road through recklessness or negligence the driver shoulld be charged with dangerous driving not careless driving

Why does this matter?

Because at present the sentencing guidelines do not deal with the offence with the severity it deserves whereby someone can be sentenced with a ban or a community order when a person has been killed
