Dead wood collection

The idea

Restore the common peoples rights to collect dead wood to be used as firewood for free, which was taken away by the Labour government on health and safety grounds.

Why is it important?

1. helps people to heat their houses

2. helps the environment due to 0 carbon rating of wood

3. clears forests and common land of dead wood (managed forestry)

4. zero cost to the public finances

5. the current  "no dead wood picking" policy is impossible to police in the first place
