DNA Defends me.

Comment 2nd July 2010

Alter the law/section that denies the Police and other government agencies the right to retain indefinitely any DNAsamples it acquires from any source.

Why does this matter?

Certain statutory bodies have the prime functions of protecting individual British citizens from any wrongdoer and of protecting society at large. The denial of access to proven methods of doing this is wrong to the same degree as would be the denial of the Armed Forces access to certain equipment.

The Armed Forces protect us from the enemies ‘without’ the Police etc. from the enemies ‘within’.
