Regulations for the 'sacking' of incompetant staff are fraught with danger.  Employers cannot discipline let alone 'loose' incompetant staff without severe threats of tribunals and legal liability.  These regulations need to be balanced more in the direction of employers.

Why does this matter?

Employers are currently cautious about employing staff especially small firms who do not have 'human rescourse' departments.
