Equality Act 2006

This Act is self contradictory, and needs to be repealed and re-drafted, with proper care.

Why does this idea matter?

This Act is one of many forced on us by the EEC. It contains sections that are self-contradictory.

For example, in the Sexual Orientation Regulations make it an offence to discriminate in the sale of goods or services against a person by way of their sexuality.

On the other hand, the Act also outlaws discrimination on grounds of religion or belief.

So, anyone claiming, in good faith, that homosexuals are largely responsible for AIDS can be prosecuted under this Act even though they have a right under it to express their beliefs.
