Ex pat voting

Comment 15th July 2010

Remove the restrictions on expat British citizens which stop them voting in British general elections after they have lived abroad for a certain number of years.

Why does this matter?

All British people should have the right to vote. These issues may affect whether, and when, expats return home. They often still pay tax to Britain; they should have the right to have a say in how the money is spent.
