Excempting Prisoners from The Human Rights Act

Comment 3rd August 2010

Prisoners and those under liscence should be excluded from some of the protections of the human righst act

Why does this matter?

Prison seems to be a soft affair in this modern society, prisoners often have more comfort and things to occupy their time than most hard work people.
If prisons regressed slightly and removed some of the softer options now avaliable then people may be less inclined to commit crime. And why should prisoners have the right to bring legal challenges under the human rights act? What about the victims? were their human rights not violated? The next thing we will see is that a prisoner is trying to say prison is aginst his human rights.
