Free legal support for both parents in Child Custody cases.

Comment 8th August 2010

The current system penalises parents who wish to contest contact with their children, due to exceedling high legal costs, in many cases the costs are so high that the non resident parent eventually ceases to contest due to lack of funds and lack of access to legal aid. Money that should be used to support those very children is ending up in the coffers of the legal practitioners. In addition it should be an offence to disclose false information on any of the court forms which are used by judges to determine outcomes, many of which are pure lies and fantasy supported by the legal practitioners.

Why does this matter?

To provide equality for the duration of any case for both parents and ensure that the truth is used to determine the outcome.
