Freedom to Enjoy Music and a Little Alcohol

Repeal those parts of the Licensing Act which force charities, voluntary organisations, pubs and businesses to obtain a licence for small scale social events at which a relatively small number of people want to enjoy drink in moderation and/or music or other entertainment.

Why does this idea matter?

The present rules just create unnecessary difficulties and bureaucracy for ordinary people trying do a bit for the community and make a little honest money.

These pointless rules imposed on small businesses and the voluntary sector contrast enormously with the freeing up of things for irresponsible conglomerates who make vast profits serving vast quantities of alcohol to irresponsible people 24/7!
