Health Service

Comment 5th July 2010

Connecting for Health to be disbanded – usually known in Health Service as Disconnecting for Health.  They create so many regulations to protect patients which is totally unnecessary as signing a contract with a hospital Trust carries patient confidentiality as an implicit part of that deal.  It's like saying 'we don't trust you' to medical staff.  Also get rid of the LSP providers who sign contracts with health care equipment providers and then double the fee to the hospital for that equipment and related support.

The whole package of CfH and LSP is costing billions.

Why does this matter?

To reduce budget deficit and to stop the taxpayers paying double.  And to give Doctors freedom to act using their own integrity.
