Abolition of 'Henry VIII Clauses'

Why does this matter?

Henry VIII Clauses enable primary legislation to be amended or repealed by subordinate legislation, with or without further Parliamentary scrutiny. It is very probable that UK Government(s) have been using Henry VIII clauses to hand power over to Brussels and erode our civil liberties.
