How to make the voting system reform more appealing to the public

Comment 5th July 2010

Regarding the voting system reform issue it would be a good idea, if we take into consideration the present financial situation that the country is in and work out a system that would make possible the merging of three constituencies together, to be represented by two MPs of the parties that have the combined largest number of votes in these three constituencies.

This way second past the post parties will get a better representation, there would be a saving for the economy, better relations between politicians of different parties, better cooperation between constituencies, a win win situation that may yield good savings in many areas where services are concerned.

Why does this matter?

It would go down very well with the public, if politicians take their fair share of the present cuts imposed on the rest of us by political and other mishandling.
