Human Rights Lost following Conviction

Comment 8th July 2010

Although in my view the repeal of the Human Rights Act would be the preferable course, it should be absolutely mandatory that all rights to protection under the Human Rights Act should be withdrawn from anyone who has been convicted of any offence.

Why does this matter?

Because legal action brought by many people is unjustified and costly and where offences have been committed to hide behind this legislation makes a mockery of the State and of the British people.
