Limit Child benefit to the First Two children

Comment 12th July 2010

Child benefit should be limited to two children. If anyone wants more, they should not receive any state financial encouragement. So many of our problems are associated with overpopulation we need to do something to curb population growth. There is nothing clever about having 4 or 5 children these days. Cutting off benefit after two children won't repay the national debt, but it will send a message about the principle of breeding responsibly. By all means have more if you can afford it, but don't expect your fellow citizens to foot your bill.

Why does this matter?

A small contribution to the public purse, but an important message in terms of principles.
