Off road vehicle use

Comment 6th July 2010

Give us back our tracks and green lanes

Why does this matter?

these routes have been used for years some dating back to ancient britain. Those that rode/drove on them responsably have been denied their sport in favour of someone else's.     walkers do far more damage to the countryside than greenlaners. I fail to see why their rights are more important than mine The issue over insurance is easily taken care off by the fact that these lanes were byways open to all traffic therefore  road insurance should be valid most greenlaners woulld be happpy to declare their offroad use and get cover built into their policies. Those who flouted the law in these areas before still do so nothing of any practical use has been achieved.
