Prenuptual agreement

Comment 12th July 2010

That a legally binding document can be drawn up prior to marriage outlining who owns what, should the marriage fail etc

that cannot be overturned at a later date

Why does this matter?

People are currently just marrying others for monetary, and property gains, and this should be outlawed.

a spouse is legally responsible for any debts that their partner accumulates, which is wrong, if the companies concerned are stupid enough to lend them the money it is up to them to regain it from the person they lent it to, NOT somebody else.

this would protect the most vulnerable also, and bring the uk up to date with neighbouring countries
