The idea
Death by dangerous driving limits the legal limit on custodial sentance, where as it is actually man slaughter which is not as limited and allows judges more freedom to impose a decent sentance.
Why is it important?
It removes a loop hole where people can deliberatly cause harm using a vehicle and escape the full consiquences.
