Repeal the European Communities Act 1972

Comment 8th July 2010

The EU was setup to amalgamate the governments of its members and hence destroy the member nations. This aim was recognised as being impossible to achieve with a democratic mandate and has been promoted by undemocratic means. The EU commission has law making powers and is a government in its own right. If any of the laws that voters in Britain propose to be scrapped are EU law, Mr Clegg or our Prime Minister do not have the power to repeal without breaking our treaty obligations.

Why does this matter?

We are a free people with freedom of will and conscience and deserve to be able to choose our governors and those who make our law. We deserve the right to choose in which state we live in. This is the ulitmate freedom in a democracy and if a people do not have these freedoms, it cannot be called a democracy.
