Repeal the Hunting Act 2004

Comment 6th July 2010

This act was brought in despite the conclusions of the Burns Report and eas only possible by use of the Parliament Act.  It has done nothing for animal welfare.  We should go back to having registered, regulated, responsible hunts as soon as possible.

Why does this matter?

The Hunting Act 2004 infringes civil liberty and has attempted to destroy a way of life that has seen the conservation of the countryside.  The look of our countryside, preserved over generations, owes much to hunting.
