Repeal the Planning Act 2008

I would seek to repeal of the Planning Act (2008)  as it destroyed the Civil Liberties of ordinary members of the community and placed immense power in the hands of an unaccountable quango who's decision could not be challenged.

Why does this idea matter?

1. It removes a Quango, one that was foisted upon us without consultation.

2.  It restores the ability of individuals at the local level to make a difference.

3. It puts the responsibility for planning decisions back to the local councils and people who, as they live in these areas, should have a better idea what is necessary and desirable.

4. It devolves decision making to the local level and makes us all accountable for our environment.
