restrict the sale of alcohol to strictly off licences and pubs

stop inappropriate outlets like petrol stations selling alcohol and restrict cut price deals on alcohol.

Why does this idea matter?

Working at a petrol station, one of our biggest sellers is alcohol and yet drink driving is against the law, it is hypocritical that you cannot drink and drink drive, but you can buy alcohol at a petrol station. The reason that petrol stations sell alcohol is that you can make more profit on that and tobacco than on fuel that is taxed to the hilt.  Then the price wars start between outlets with some alcohol being sold too cheaply with bargain offers and which fuels binge drinking while pubs are closing like garages because of high charges on its primary commodity. we need to curtail the excess and replace it with some sensible morality.
