Scrap e-borders scheme

Comment 5th July 2010

The e-borders scheme is yet another massive Labour database system. The new government has announced it is scrapping a fewof these and toned down a few more, but it intends to continue with this Labour database.

Scrap it and government could save millions.

Why does this matter?

What business is it of government where I am going when I get on a train which goes to  Paris? Will they want to know where I am going when I get on a train to Edinburgh next? What business is it of theirs how I paid and the account details? What business of theirs is my email and postal addresses and my telephone number? IT IS NONE OF THEIR DAMMED BUSINESS.

It is also a security risk, theives will soon be paying to find out which addresses are unoccupied as people are on holiday.
