Scrap the 10mph Speed Limit on Lake Windermere

The idea

5 Years ago Labour decided to impose a 10mph speed limit on Lake Windermere in the Lake District, this restricts the use of speedboats and therefore stops anyone participating in watersports such as water-skiing and wakeboarding.

Why is it important?

The local economy has lost tens of millions of pounds due to the speed ban being imposed, money that I'm sure would be very useful now. There are very limited options in the North of England for watersports and this was the last Lake in England powerboats were permitted.

Taking off the speed limit would once again allow everybody and anybody to enjoy this area.
