Stop censoring people’s submissions

I notice that you are blocking the discussion of ideas submitted to this site. Here is just one example I came across:

"Thanks for your idea. At the moment this site focuses on which laws and regulations you think we should remove. To keep the discussion on track, we have closed this idea for comment and voting."


Why does this matter?

Don't you get it? People have limited opportunities to tell MPs (any constituents of Clegg, like me, tried getting an answer to correspondence sent him will know what I mean) what they think and if they are using this site to suggest new ideas we the electorate should have an opportunity to support them or oppose them as we see fit.

Or perhaps this is just a wasteful piece of window dressing and the ConDems aren't interested in a genuine dialogue with the public?
