Stop criminalising people who want to protect their homes and families

Comment 8th July 2010

If a person breaks into a house the law should state that that person must knowingly run the risk of being hurt, maimed or even killed by a person defending themself, their family and their possessions.

The justification for this law should be that the homeowner is being put under extreme stress. In other words 'out of their mind with fear'.

No person under extreme stress must ever be sent to prison for any 'crime' in their own house.

Why does this matter?

Because our streets are filled with bad people whilst innocent people languish in prison for defending themselves. Imprisoning innocent people? Not in my name!
