Remove the need for having a different bin for each type of rubbish. I now have a recycling bin, general waste bin, food waste bin, bottle bin, garden waste bin, battery bin and I hear there may be another just for cardboard. My front drive with it’s six (soon to be seven) bins is unsightly and has reduced parking space. Can we just have two bins i.e. waste and recycling and they can be sorted at the various depots.
Why does this idea matter?
It will increase available parking and pedestrian walk space, prevent access routes being continually blocked, simplify collection and improve the look of communities. We are in danger of drowning in wheelie bins for no real reason. Keep Britain Tidy – not an eyesore
