Sunset clauses for all laws

Comment 8th July 2010

If a law is not working it would become repealed after a set time. We have many laws often rushed through to satisfy pressure groups. These are often bad and difficult to enforce. Laws that have had full parliamentary scrutiny are more likely to do as intended.

Why does this matter?

We have many unworkable laws as a result of knee jerk reactions to various situations. These are often bad and failing to achieve their objectives.
