Tax Foreign Vehicle’s on our roads.

1 Comment 7th July 2010

With our HGV's paying on average £8000 per year to travel on our roads. Why do foreign HGV's not have to pay a penny in Excise duty to travel on our roads. Our Lorries have to pay tolls abroad. Making foreign HGV's pay vehicle excise duty, this will put billions in the coffers, and give our transport system a level footing with foreign competetors.

Dont stop there, tax all cars too. why should a foreign worker, bringing their own vehicle's into this country be exempt from paying road fund licence? Every one else has to pay this tax.

Why does this matter?

My idea is important, because this will put billions back into our economy, and give our transport infrastructure a level footing with foreign competetors.
