To strike out enabling clauses.

Too many recently introduced laws have an enabling clause allowing the Government of the day (whoever it might be) to enact new legislation without benefit of Parliamentary debate.

Any legislation containing an enabling clause should have such clause struck out.

Why does this matter?

A moderate government might not be in power forever.  To repeat the last thirteen years would eventually make us all criminals.
