CRB checking is a costly process that fails to deliver the expected outcome.   It takes away responsibilities from any local group or organization and centralizes it to a faceless bureaucrat   whose only real interest is generating statistics.   This legislation is so ridiculous that if you move from job to job within the same organization you have to be rechecked at a cost of £60 a time.

Why is this idea important?

This legislation typifies the nanny state and imposes cost and bureaucratic hurdles that sap the will of people to get involved.

  1. Cautions for minor offences are acceptable, but for those who have been wrongly advised by police, it not fair, not just and the police are the biggest fraudster, with a catalogue of lies and deception. You may have one or two honest ones, but penalising law abiding one mistake wonders, is poor, and disturbing, hence long job list of unemoployed.

The law need to change, we in the uk need to wake up, being monitored, rather than helped. Time to say no more, as stupidity is part if the fabric of uk law.
