Abolish the law that lets prisoners watch colour TV – allow black & white only
Prisoners have it too easy – they don't deserve colour TV. B&W should be enough for them. And the old B&W TV shows have more suitable moral values for these miscreants.
Why does this idea matter?
There must be 1000s of old B&W sets that we could get for little or no money. Plus, think of all the money we would save by only paying for the B&W TV licence. The colour licence is £145.50 a year, the monochrome one only £49. 95,000 prisoners x £96.50 = £9,167,500. Yes, we could save over £9 million!
