Abolish the TV License!

Abolish the tv lisense.  We currently have to pay  £145 per year for a tv lisence and this increases on a yearly basis.

Why does this idea matter?

My understanding is that the tv lisence is to pay for the BBC.   When the BBC shows mostly re-runs, why should we have to pay for programmes shown numerous times before?

With most brits using SKY or some other digital TV service that also has to be paid for, why should we have to pay a further fee for the BBC?

Also with a high majority of people evading the lisence fee, I expect that policing this could cost more money than it makes.

I would be happy not to watch the BBC as it has as many trailers and more product placement than other channels.
