Why should every person who owns a TV have to pay a TV licence poll tax irrespective of their means or whether they actually watch BBC?

The BBC is bloated and arrogant. They take public money but refuse to reveal the pay of their 'talent'. They have a disgraceful left wing bias in reporting news and politics and are immune to criticism.

They claim that if privatised they would have to show adverts; has anyone noticed that BBC TV and radio programmes are constantly interrupted by 'infomercials' advertising other BBC content.

Scrap the licence fee, make the BBC more accountable and let them raise money by other means.

Why is this idea important?

To halt the arrogance of the BBC and prevent otherwise lawabing citizens receiving a criminal record for refusing to pay the BBC poll tax.
