Focus on the Hadiths

At present both the government and the media struggle with the portrayal of muslims since we are fighting muslims in a muslim country yet at the same time we are trying to help muslims get their country back and we have muslim citizens. Instead of portraying muslims as radical muslims or liberal muslims or making up words like islamists, refer to them by a different word entirely that does not involve any form of the word islam or muslim. The key distinguishing feature that separates normal muslims from those that turn violent over a picture of their prophet is that the violent ones believe in what are called hadiths (the sayings of the prophet). These are basically rumours that are declared to be of equal value to what is in the Qur'an because they are claimed to be said by Mohammed.

The key thing about the hadiths is that they are completely made up and most muslims do not believe in them. For example, many drawings and portraits were painted and made by genuine muslims without any danger at all a few centuries ago, yet now the 'islamists' cannot allow it to happen. And many muslim countries have music to this day, but to the hadithans music is nearly all banned. Same with comedy, there are muslim comedians yet hadithans are not allowed it. Therefore I think that it would help a great deal with interfaith relations if these strange believers in hadiths were referred to as hadithans so that muslims recognise that they would effectively be leaving islam if they joined this sect and so that muslims can be seen once again as normal people by the majority of this country.

Introduce Maturity Cards

Instead of introducing ID cards, why not introduce something akin to a driver's licence where people have points docked for breaking the law or being anti-social and threatening? It could be a useful way of keeping anti-social behaviour in check as at present there are many people who break the law in minor ways on a weekly basis by disturbing the peace, menacing people in gangs etc, as well as those people who get drunk and start fights all of the time.

Introduce Gene Therapy as a way of dealing with crime.

When the DNA samples of the prison population were compared with that of the general population, it was found that there were 3 genes which were dramatically more populous in the prisons. Upon further analysis these genes were found to each do one of the following: greatly increase the possibility of developing schizophrenia, make it much more likely to develop an addiction, and to make physical violence an automatic reaction (the so-called 'warrior gene'). It seems that, in the same way that a dyslexic has the part of the brain that affects letter order in an under-developed state, these people are also genetically impaired so that they have a different kind of learning disability, one which almost forces them into serious crime since their brains are unable to determine the right course of action or they are unable to do the right thing even if they want to. By replacing these genes with the normal gene that everyone else has, crime would more than halve.

Legalise Prostitution

Duplicate the treatment of prostitutes that Australia and some other 1st world countries use by legalising prostitution and giving them screening for STIs, protecting them from pimps and drug dealers, and in return taxing their income.

Require the same application form to be used for all jobs.

While jobhunting I have had to fill in countless job application forms all of which ask the same questions. It makes jobhunting incredibly dull and frustrating, and as a consequence people apply for fewer jobs since this endless cycle of filling out the same form over and over again with nothing to show for it.

If the same form was used for the standard questions, and, for example, the employer had the option of requesting one additional page of information, the process would not only be less frustrating, but actually so efficient that it would be enjoyable, especially if it was integrated into the directgov website so that you could finish applying for a job within 10 minutes of finding it.
