The absurdity of compulsory worship

Let those who profess to believe in a god or gods, and consider that their belief requires the uttering of "prayers" and/or the singing of songs,do so in the comfort  and privacy of their own homes; there is no reason at all why anyone should be coerced into performing such activities in public, let alone in specified places and at specified times.
