Scrap CQC for dentists

Yet another waste of time and resources in an already over regulated and micro -managed profession. This will achieve nothing more than the regulatory bodied that are already there which at least  have some idea about what is involved in Dentistry. I thought we were supposed to be getting rid of thes layers of unnecessary management.

Why is this idea important?

scrap HMT01/05

As we are now supposed to be working in an evidence based evironment , why is the profession being told to waste our own vital resources ie time and money on proceedures and equipment that have absolutely  no evidence to suggest they are necessary and divert it away from the most important part of our business – the patient and dental care .Yet another knee jerk reaction by a totally clueless and useless previous goverment to theoretical nonsense . Lets hope the new lot have more sense ( fat chance ).
