Stop the real benefit theives (the ones that are NEVER going to work!)

There should be a limit on job seekers allowance.  It should only be claimable for a short period of time.  People should be made to either work or support themselves if they don't want to work.  The tax payers are paying for a heavy group of people who will never work and continually use the benefits system to live.  The public are carrying some citizens which have never worked and yet feel it is their right to benefits.

In addition, people who have joined the English community from another country should have to wait at least 1 year of residing England before they are allowed to claim any benefits.

Stop stats tests on primary school children

Teachers, schools and parents all call for it to be abolished.  Why is this still happening?  Why do we need these tests?  Why are we allowing our children to be put through the pressure at such a young age?

Give the Police / Courts more power to convict reoffending criminals

Example:  We had a man enter our shop and the same man came to the outside of our home, claiming he didn't speak very good English and that he had mistaken our home for 'a restaurant'!  The Police caught the man just off our property, by which point was unable to speak any English at all!  He was very well known to the Police and has been in court over 50 (yes fifty) times for similar offences and stealing small items (clothes, food, wallets).  He is Lithuanian and the Police nor the Courts at any time have been able to prosecute him nor return him back to his home Country.

When someone continually reoffends and the Police have enough 'complaints', the Courts should be able to do something.  The problem with some offenders is they know the system, they are actually quite clever in terms of not being prosecuted.  In the meantime, they cause havoc to our residents and business communities.

Stop Councils closing public carparks to make money

Lincolnshire County Council several times a year allows our local carparks to be closed for days so paying film crews, etc may use the carpark at their leisure.  Although it is wonderful these commercial companies want to use our local area, we see a significant drop in business whilst our public carparks are closed.  Our customers and tourists have no where to park!!!!

Enforce recycling in businesses

Currently businesses don't have to recycle and waste goes on to landfill.  Businesses should accept their responsibility of recycling and not using our land for waste.

Councils spending money unnecessarily and unprofessionally; salaries too high

Councils should be run similar to non-profit organisations. They have important work to do, but they are continually monitored by a highly efficient management team. Ultimately, they have to spend money wisely and usually someone else’s money (eg funding).
Councils spending too much money
Salaries far too high (on public money)
Too many employees
Streamlining operations and becoming more effective for the public benefit and reducing significant costs
Wasting time (and therefore money) in meetings
Spending up money so their budgets are not cut
