Israel Has Legalised Medical Marijuana! How long will the UK drag it’s feet, sulking like a naughty school boy who’s been discovered pedaling lies and deceit?

http://www.haaretz.com/news/national/israel-relaxes-restrictions-on-medical-marijuana-1.312347

So the media makes Israel out to be some sort of monster when in actual fact the evidence suggests that they are far more reasonable, compassionate and concerned for liberty and justice than we are here in the UK!

Israel realises the senseless injustice of criminalising the sick.

Israel understands that it is not humane to remove the right of the sick to be treated by possibly the best natural medication known to man.

Israel has dealt a significant blow to greedy, self obsessed political / corporate agendas because they see such action as NECESSARY and IMPORTANT, indeed, the Jewish people have a saying: "If you haven't got your health, than what have you got?".

They replaced greedy drug policy with humane and compassionate treatment.

Israel sees the hypocrisy. Israel sees the blatant bigotry. Israel sees the complete and utter failure of the drug war.

Israel is doing something about it.

Is the UK really to be the elephant in the room? Standing on our outdated, prejudicial and, frankly, insane principles we are begging to be left behind by other more evolved, liberated and compassionate societies.

The UK government are a disgrace for while the world is turning to a more liberal future, the UK is so steeped in the web of deceit, propaganda, political complicity and corruption that it would seem they cannot untangle themselves from it without also ruining their own careers. Well, personally, I think that any prohibitionist should be forced from their disgraceful and hateful position of power so that they no longer infect reason with their corrupt, illogical, irrational and perverse sense of justice.

Why is this idea important?

Revoke the State Visit invitation to the Pope!

It would seem that our Queen, the unelected and purely constitutional Monarch and Head Of State, saw fit to invite the Pope to a state funded visit to the UK on September 18th, 2010.

I am a tax paying citizen of Great Britain and I, along with millions of others, certainly do not want to contribute 1 penny of my tax money towards a visit from a radical, hateful, bigoted zealot who believes in fairy tale story's and was indoctrinated (whether willingly or not) into the Nazi Youth as a young boy.

He is a deeply unlikeable person and he holds a political / religious post that is equally diabolical in nature. The Catholic Church has committed so many multiple crimes against humanity throughout it's blood soaked history that a rational person could only acquaint it to a more radical version of Al Quaida. Yet the Queen feels that the head of such a monstrous terrorist organisation deserves to be treated to a state funded visit complete with all the bells and whistles.

As for the man himself, here's a quick list of the crimes that he is currently involved in:

Mr Ratzinger’s Rap Sheet

Joseph Ratzinger, a.k.a. “The Pope” is charged with the following crimes:

  1. Opposing the distribution of condoms and so increasing large families in poor countries and the spread of AIDS
  2. Promoting segregated education
  3. Denying abortion to even the most vulnerable women
  4. Opposing equal rights for lesbians, gay, bisexual and transgender people
  5. Failing to address the many cases of abuse of children within its own organisation.
  6. Rehabilitating the holocaust denier bishop Richard Williamson and the appeaser of Hitler, the war-time Pope, Pius XII

Taking the above rap sheet into consideration, I believe that even at this late stage, it is right and correct to deny him access to the UK on a state funded basis. By all means, he can pay for it all himself and come over as normal visitor but to ask the UK public to pay for such a nasty bigot to come over here and preach his equally disgusting propaganda and indoctrinating rhetoric is totally unacceptable.

He wants to Beatify Pope Pius XII for goodness sake! The same Pope who actively and complicity cooperated with Hitler, helped hoard Nazi gold and other valuables stolen from victims of the Holocaust and also from Nazi conquered territory, actively helped and funded high profile Nazi's to escape Germany after the war, and who refused to denounce Hitler (in full knowledge of the Holocaust) before he knew for sure that he was supporting the winning side. I.E: immediately after the war had ended.

He also wants to lift the excommunication of ex-bishop Richard Williamson even though this guy really is a contemporary card carrying Nazi… This, in itself, is enough to strike him from the privileges of state sponsorship. Yet there are so many other reasons, as indicated by the rap sheet above, that to allow such a radical cleric into the country on a state visit beggars belief.

Latest figures for alcohol abuse underline the perverse nature of prohibition

Yesterday the BBC News gave the number of hospital admissions due to alcohol. Read it and weep for the state of our so called democratic society:

In 2008/09, 606,799 people were admitted to hospital with drink-related problems. Some were treated more than once, leading to 945,469 total admissions, the Local Alcohol Profiles for England show.

More than 1,500 men and women are admitted to hospital every day because of alcohol, a report reveals.

The figure is 65 per cent higher than only five years ago, while drinking is to blame for around 15,000 deaths a year.

More than 400,000 brawls, burglaries, sexual assaults and other crimes are also fuelled by alcohol each year, the study shows.

Repeal The Latest Gimmick In The Drugs War – Drug Driving Testing Kits To Be Issued To The Police.

It has just been announced that the government are to introduce drug driving test kits for traffic police. While I agree with the principle of not lawfully being allowed to drive whilst intoxicated with any substance, pharmaceutical or illicit, I cannot agree to the introduction of  this latest drugs war gimmick. It is simply not ethical or justifiable to issue police with drugs test kits without also utterly reforming drugs policy at the same time.

One of the myriad of complications regarding enforcement of positive tests is the fact that substances dissolve in the blood stream at different rates and, therefore, such policy would immediately discriminate against one specific population of drugs user. For example, I would like to know how they intend to prosecute somebody for driving on cannabis when cannabis takes up to 4 weeks to leave the blood system? This is unlike far more powerful substances like cocaine which dissolve in the blood stream within a few days and become undetectable thereafter. This means that this new introductory scheme would weigh heaviest against cannabis users and allow the real dangerous drug users to largely get away with drug driving.

Yet again the innocent cannabis user becomes the government scape goat, even though it has been proven that cannabis not only doesn't impair your driving ability but also, in most cases, it increases the drivers capacity for safe driving.

Repeal the introduction of these unworkable systems for further terrorising cannabis users until such time as you ALSO introduce drug policy reform and regulation. Thus ensuring that along with regulation comes a drug drive limit, just like there is with the far more impairing substance of alcohol. Note would also be taken of the dispersal rate of the drug in question before any arrest could be made. This would ensure that that the victimisation of the cannabis user was not an issue.

MSG To The Government – RE: The Public Are Aware That You Have Been Purposely Deceiving Us For 70 Years!

Dear Public Servants, the Government of The United Kingdom,

I write to inform you that we, the public of Great Britain, are growing ever more aware of the fact that successive governments have been purposely deceiving us regarding the prohibition of cannabis for approximately 70 years.

We are aware of the racist, unethical, immoral, unjust, unlawful and wholly discriminate propaganda that revolves around the entire issue of the state's attempt to hood-wink society. Almost every conceivable prejudice has been thrown at the issue, no matter how absurd, in an attempt for the state to protect the lie. Such illogical maintenance of the lie continues to this day and we, your electorate, are fully aware of your futile attempts to keep your necks above the waters of public knowledge. It is a dangerous situation to have the electorate over-take it's government in this manner.

The Internet is alive with overwhelming evidence to counter each and every one of the state's unsubstantiated claims against cannabis. Such evidence has also been provided by your electorate here on this website and under this topic. The "free" citizen is easily able to research evidence that will acknowledge that, indeed, they are trusting an untrustworthy government.

We, the people and your electorate, demand that you immediately cease lying to us and begin a process of reconciliation with your electorate so that we may once again be able to trust the people that we elect. We demand an apology and an admission of complicity in the corrupt deceit of society. We also demand an immediate repeal of cannabis prohibition and it's full legalisation.

An open lie cannot be upheld! The State has been found out! WE KNOW!!! Continuation of such deceit of the public in the face of overwhelming and publicly accessible evidence to the contrary will simply result in an ever diminishing respect, confidence and trust of the state by the electorate. The lie simply cannot be maintained.

Yours sincerely,

Rationalist.

If it’s good enough for Mr. Barak Obama & Mr. Cameron then it’s reasonable to assume that it’s good enough for the rest of us! Legalise Cannabis.

Barack Obama said: "When I was younger I inhaled (cannabis) frequently, that was the point!"

Mr. Cameron was caught using cannabis at Eaton school and has admitted to inhaling. That's also only going on the one time he was caught and so doubtless he has also "inhaled frequently" just like his American counterpart.

If our elected leaders have committed a criminal act yet have gone on to succeed in the manner that they have then it is simply immoral and utterly unjustified to continue locking people up for doing no less than they have also done. It is a disgrace to our modern values that all are equal yet some seems to be more equal than others.

I demand either the immediate resignation of our criminal Prime Minister or (far more rationally) an immediate end to prohibition and the release of all prisoners of conscience along with the destruction of their criminal records.

Cannabinoids for treating cancer? « Cancer Research UK – Science Update

Researchers in Spain have published results in this week’s British Journal of Cancer showing that certain cannabinoids – molecules so-called because they were originally found in cannabis – could hold promise for treating prostate cancer.

Repeal the trend of never charging the police with murder / manslaughter.

After it was decided today not to press charges regarding the killing of the man who was walking by the G20 protest last year (but not a partaking in it) by a police officer, is it not about time that the police were subject to the same rule of law as that which they so vindictively enforce?

Charges are rarely if ever brought against violent and offensive police officers, not even in the case of Juan Charles de Mendez did a single police officer get charged with murder. They put 7 bullets into that poor innocent man's head and the resulting enquiry found none guilty of (at the very least) manslaughter. Indeed, the female police officer in charge of that operation was later promoted.

I am utterly fed up with the attitude of the CPS. They send out a message to other police persons that they have Cart Blanche to act in any manner of their choosing and this is resulting in far to many innocent people getting hurt.

The UK public have rightly lost all respect for the law due to ridiculous and unnecessary pseudo-fascist legislation that impinge on every aspect of civilian life. Mixed with the total impunity of the police force, this creates a population that has no respect, admiration or trust in their police.

Currently they are seen as oppressive enforcers of often unlawful, irrational and unjust laws yet simultaneously it is noted that they are not bound by the same rule of law as the public have to suffer on a daily basis.

Repeal the absurdly unjustifiable constant impunity of the police and have them subject to the same law as everybody else in order to restore some kind of faith in the police within British society.

Question for Mr. Clegg RE: Why am I a criminal?

A quick question to you Mr. Clegg to which I would appreciate a straight answer.

I am a hard working citizen who is also in adult education at the moment, studying hard for a Gas Safety qualification. I have never taken any form of welfare from the state as an adult and therefore have cost the state nothing. I am morally adept, ethically minded and a responsible adult. I care for those around me, I help other people wherever and whenever I can whether that's by lifting a heavy suit case down some stairs for a mother who was also trying to look after her child (my most recent good deed) or by any other means. I am an upstanding member of society, I have passed my first aid qualifications and I try to be as good a person as I can be. I actively contribute to the society that I am part of. I used to smoke cannabis regularly and still do on occasion. I am "T" total, I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke cigarettes and I don't indulge in any other drug habit. I speak well, am educated and well read. Lastly, I have never caused disruption of the peace, I have never been in a fight nor raised my hand against any other person.

Therefore, my question to you Mr. Clegg is: Please would you describe exactly why the state insists on criminalising me as well as millions like me and, furthermore, please explain in full the criminal act that I am accused of?

If you cannot justify my enduring criminalisation then perhaps you have just answered the question of the immorality of the Misuse of Drugs Act and also why it should be immediately repealed.

Can we get a definitive comment on the issue of cannabis legalisation from Mr. Clegg?

Seeing as the subject of cannabis law reform is possibly the most repeated single idea on this site, shouldn't it be an appropriate subject for Mr. Clegg to comment on next time he releases a new Home Page video response?

I would like to know whether there is any point in my continuing to champion the cause of freedom and liberty without prejudice for all, especially in the realm of cannabis use. If the hundreds of similar posts on this site have been noticed (and lets face it, it would be impossible not to notice them) then please indicate the governments position on this obviously highly regarded issue.

Repeal The Lie’s & Deceit Of Generations Of Prohibition

After more than half a century of lies and deceit regarding cannabis and the reasons put forward for prohibition by successive governments in order to uphold the lie, the British public are wising up to the whitewash.

We will no longer accept the government's explanation of the merits of prohibition, neither will we continue to be lead astray by such pervasive deceitful policy.

The British public are far in advance of the government on the issue of the "War On Drugs", we have long acknowledged that the fundamental policy is corrupt and utterly unjust, unworkable and morally defunct.

It is now time for the government to repeal all such policies of openly lying to its electorate. It is time for the Government to play catch up with the public whim.

I demand that the government explain to the public why they have felt the need to deceive us for generations and why they have unjustly, immorally and unethically imprisoned so many citizens under trumped up charges that never made any rational sense. I demand to know why they continue to believe that it is right or correct to ruin some body's life for the act of consuming a substance that is of no consequence to anybody but themselves. Lastly, I am sure that I am not alone in also demanding that the Government come clean regarding the entire issue of prohibition and issue a deep and heartfelt apology to the public for creating and continuing to advocate possibly the second greatest deceitful  lie in human history.

REPEAL the governments ability to lie to their electorate by adopting rigid scientific and empirically lead independent bodies that can assess all comments made by government and analyse their factual content without interference from state.

Cannabis Tag has been removed, yet again.

The Cannabis issue has received no less than 325 posts. That makes it one of the most popular single issues on this site, if not THE most popular on this site.

Excuses for it's constant appearing and disappearing range from magic to the Tag not getting clicked or posted enough.

After some consideration, I reject these explanations. It is simply not acceptable to try and dissolve an issue by removing it from the main index of Tags to the right of the forum. It is especially inappropriate to remove one of the single largest topics of debate on this website.  Even if it is somehow true that the tag has not been clicked on as much as others, it should still be reinstated as this issue is obviously of great concern to the public no matter what excuses are used to silence the issue.

Please mirror the public mood by reinstating the Cannabis Tag to it's rightful place.

Vienna Declaration – International movement towards drug policy based around scientific evidence & the principle of harm reduction. UN / ICSDP

It's plainly obvious that this website has already been restricted in terms of its effectiveness at restoring our liberty. Mr. Clegg has already pointed out that in our democracy, majority doesn't rule. Instead he rules the majority and therefore he'll only act on submitted Idea's that fit his skewed agenda.

Therefore, time to take responsibility for our own freedom and liberty as this government seems as pathetic as the last in terms of it's ability to protect the public and ensure freedom, justice and liberty for all.

So, my Idea is while we campaign here, please also go and support the international effort to reform drug policy, spearheaded by the UN. Please go and sign this international declaration:

Repeal Imprisonment For Cultivation Of Cannabis

Currently the maximum prison term for cultivation of cannabis is 14 years. The maximum term fro Unregistered, illegal, gun ownership is 5 years.

Something is very wrong with our society.

Illegal guns kill people, growing cannabis doesn't. How on Earth is the law to  be taken seriously if it continues to employ such obviously unjust powers? How on Earth is it remotely justifiable to imprison someone guilty of a victimless crime for a greater term than those convicted of owning a weapon that has such terrible consequences for society?

Repeal the law that allows a prison term to be served by cannabis cultivation.

BBC News just quoted that 40% of NHS A&E is taken up by alcohol abusers. LEGALISE CANNABIS NOW!

So many adults are forced to drink as their only legal high and form of rest and relaxation. It’s so unethical and irresponsible a policy, just look at the BBC News statistic that states 40% of A&E is taken up by alcoholic issues. Legalise cannabis and free adult citizens to at least have a choice as to what drug they wish to relax with.

Where has the “CANNABIS” Tag gone???

There used to be a Tag entitled “Cannabis” located on the right hand side of the index page. It was useful as it directed thousands of people to the place where they felt most concern regarding current unethical and unlawful discriminative legislation towards innocent cannabis users.

Teach Atheism in Schools.

Time to get humanity on track after 5,000 years of utterly ridiculous fairy tales. Teach and promote atheism in schools so our children can make an informed choice about all paths open to them within the realm of theology. It is abhorrent to me that instead of basing our syllabus on rational scientific empirical knowledge, we infect our children with lies and profane inaccuracies. Stop polluting young minds and help begin pointing humanity down the road of reason over that of highly contentious and  socially divisive theology.

Prosecute The Parents, Not The Child.

Instead of blaming the child and following the, frankly, abusive and immoral policy of child criminal responsibility, perhaps societies attention should be more drawn to the adult parent(s). A child who comits any crime could not possibly have understood, grasped or been influenced by the law due to their age and mental ability.

A child's upbringing is absolutely dependant on their parenting. It defies logic that a child could possibly be guilty of a crime. If a child commits an act of crime it is solely the responsibility of the parent for not bringing them up properly. If the argument is that the parent could not control the child then the adult(s) concerned should not be permitted to keep their children as they are unable to parent properly.

Parenting is the single largest responsibility of life and should be met as such by responsible adults.

In addition, the government must repeal the madness of legislation that utterly prevents them dispensing appropriate and responsible discipline. A child cannot be brought up correctly in society if they have no limitations set before them by their parents and influential adults.

There is no excuse for bad parenting, ever. A child can barely understand the concept of the self much before their teenage years let alone criminal responsibility. It is simply unjust to accuse children of crimes that they cannot even attempt to understand.

the criminal age of responsibility should be 18 and not a moment sooner. Until then the child should be the 100% responsibility of the adult parent(s).

The Labour Government Eroded Our Liberty. It’s Time To Reclaim Our individual Sovereignty!

After 14 Years of Labour, the common British Citizen finds themselves in a peculiar predicament. The freedoms so hard won in two world wars have all but vanished in the space of a decade.

The Labour Government simultaneously employed a system of hard core propaganda which utterly quelled the formerly insatiable need for liberty, freedom and justice that our fair Isle was so very admired for. Shows like Police, Camera, Stop and other such "documentaries" are nothing more than a subversive government agenda to tenderise our independent spirit and make us subconsciously conform to a police state.

As a perfect example of the mess that such programs leave society in, I'll quote an extract from one of these police document-aganda programs: An officer said something that I will never forget:

"Yeah, it's a shame that we didn't catch that suspected violent rapist but that's life. We'll get him next time. The day wasn't a complete failure though because we nicked that cannabis user this morning in a dawn raid! HAHAHA!"

Well, that's my case in point. I remember feeling quite sickened by that comment yet it also encouraged me to reflect on the damage that such programs do to our society's sovereignty. Such propaganda enforces the utterly skewed opinion that no matter what the Police do, it's the right thing and because society is watching such programs in a state of stasis, such nonsense washes over them. This is to the detriment of the society that we now find ourselves in. A society where having such misinformation force fed to it results in a cowled and frightened people, unable and unwilling to ask crucial questions regarding our independent and social welfare or question the, frankly, obscene power of social services that were originally put in place to protect us, not bully and harass us.

Therefore my idea is to give adults our individual responsibility back by banning such open state propaganda such as the police programs and the adverts such as "Speak To Frank".

It has been said: "Television, the drug of the nation, breeding ignorance and feeding radiation". Who would have thought that this quotation would be so very relevant in today's society? The vacuous state of mind that we watch TV in is the perfect petri dish for the growing of a police state and the removal of liberty and individual responsibility from the average Joe on the street. This fact was absolutely understood by Labour and they preyed upon it incessantly.

Ban all government propaganda and / or the televising of any government led organisation as they each are based on government agendas which consequently corrupts society by blinding them to the truth of many situations while leaving them indoctrinated to believe that the state is always correct.

Far Fetched Idea With a Serious Point. RE: Nationwide Working Cannabis Users Strike.

My idea is to organise a mass strike of all working adult cannabis users. Now, before you all through this idea out, read on…

It would certainly highlight the problem and bring swift change to the law if everyone of the working population of 6 million adult cannabis users went on strike and refused to work until the issue was brought before the vote.

We would need to set up a charity where the more wealthy user can help support the less wealthy in the struggle with issues like rent payments and other life expenses. It wouldn't matter if you were fired from your position either because as soon as the law was changed the charity could help with the birth of a new industry offering employment and prospects to all whom joined the Union.

Ha, I know I'm dreaming but still, it would be awesome to achieve.

Remove and destroy for ever the ridiculous smiley face road signs… WE ARE NOT PLAYSCHOOL CHILDREN!!!

Well, the title says it all. Get rid of the silly digital smiley / frown face speed check signs! They serve no purpose but to infuriate motorists by insulting their intelligence and by suggesting that we should be treated like children. Everybody I know who passes them admits to speeding up instead of slowing down when they see one. They have an adverse effect and they make us look like morons.  I'm not a moron! I'm a mature adult who finds it offensive to be so blatantly patronised by a ridiculous nanny state.

Pro or Anti Cannabis Leagalisation, All Should Watch, ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE A POLITICIAN

I'm putting this link here as it represents an informed opinion on the subject and details at length the history of prohibition, it's effects economically and in society, it's medicinal values and other extremely informative matters relating to the question, "should we legalise cannabis?".

If you are anti legalisation, then this video will inform you of the other side of the coin while still respecting your opinions and whether you agree with the video or not, you'll end up better qualified to speak about the subject.

If you're pro legalisation then this video is a real eye opener and makes it much easier to understand the fight that you really have on your hands and how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Enjoy before it's moderated on!!!
