I think bicycle users in cities should pay maybe £20-£30 per year tax. All over britain, the counsils are spending thousands and thousands on new bike lanes, bike sheds, bike railing etc.

We car users have to pay tax and car parking so why cant bicycle users pay something towards the costs of road markings etc. Also we car users are paying for all the pot holes on our roads, so why cant bicycle users.

Why is this idea important?

The reason for my idea is just to put a little more money back into the counsils.
