We should repeal the legal requirement to follow BS6102, a law that mandates that bikes sold in the United Kingdom must have the rear brake on the left hand side and the front brake on the right hand side.

Why is this idea important?

Every other European country, and the United States of America don't have this law.  In fact, the standard construction of bikes in every other western country is to have the brakes the other way round.  This causes complications for any trader who wishes to import bikes – they have to go through amendment before being lawful for sale.  Any bike make in the United Kingdom has to be amended to be socially acceptable in any other western country.
