I agree with David Cameron that Turkey should be acknowledged within the EU. Why then is the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus not also acknowledged.

Why is this idea important?

Many British people live and work in TRNC and yet their rights are not recognised by the British Government.  This is a long overdue decision. It is important for not only British people who live there but also the Turkish Cypriots, many who hold British passports.  Should the Greek Government and the Republic of Cyprus be allowed to continue to dictate what happens within Northern Cyprus.

Europe is supposed to be a free state, but still after thirty six years we allow this to continue, people can cross the GREEN LINE but trade between other European countries is still not allowed.

Free trade and direct flights are a humanitarian right, not a political chess game!

Turkey will accept trade with the Republic of Cyprus if the ROC accept Northern Cyprus.
