If somebody is offended by what I say, that's their problem! They shouldn't be allowed to veto anything I say by simply claiming to be offended by it. I'm not responsible for their peculiar sensitivities – I want my freedom of speech back!

Why is this idea important?

As is says in "Here is Wosdom"

"Not being allowed to say things which might offend other people is like living, not under a single dictator, but under 60 million of them, each one with the right to impose their personal beliefs on everyone else and dictate what we can and cannot say, vetoing any opinions they wish to suppress."

"Disagreements and sometimes being offended by what other people do and say is all part of the richness of life. Being part of an oppressive society where free expression is outlawed and basic liberties have been abolished doesn't have to be!"
