I am 53 and ride a motor scooter. I don't want/need the expense of taking a full motorcycle test and just ride on a CBT certificate. It seems daft that someone my age has to retake the CBT every 2 years (and incur the expense). Could not the law be changed so that peeople who have a full driving licence and just want to ride a scooter simply need to retake a shorter (and less expensive) CBT test every 5 years for example?
Over-50s should be able to ride a motor scooter without having to retake a CBT every 2 years.
